Was planning on a birthday present for one of my buddies and suddenly thought of giving something meaningful. :D What can be more meaningful than giving something which can be seen daily, capturing the happy moment of us together? Yes, definitely is the PHOTO of US!

This year (2010) is a good year for my batch. There are quite a lot of us getting married this year, especially end of the year. Luckily there are a few weddings ceremonies were attended by most of us. Some traveled back from US, Germany while others traveled from Penang, Kuala Lumpur to come back to our lovely hometown for these wedding dinners (fong's, ling's, poh yoke's, just to name a few)..

We had a very happening and happy moments together. Partly was gathering with everyone as since graduation, we hardly able to spend time together like we used to use in school. Really missed the time we were together ... ^_^

But don't worry, it's all captured with professional photographers, like Andrew and of cos our own cameras!

At first, I wanted to develop only photo for debbie's birthday present. But as I go through the photo albums, I am very happy to view the group photos and would like to develop some for my own collections as well. Kelly told me there is a good online photo developing which she tried before and highly recommended to me. You may click on EOE for more information. I was told by Kelly that the quality of the photos developed is good and they are sending over via courier service. How pro! :D I wanted to try it myself this time. But meanwhile, I need to choose some photos first ...

Best Remedies for PMS

The last time I went to Macau is in March 2008. I bought these in SASA shop because its on "SALES", very very cheap After I test it once, I immediately fall in love & become addicted. OMG..

I recall I have a tough time searching for seller in Malaysia & found out this is not available in Malaysia at ALL. At last, a friend of mine came back from Macau & bought me a stock which can last half a year...

With these heating pad, I can go to work as normal, attend meeting, give presentation etc.. Like nothing happen. The only thing can cause me a need to rest-a-day is dizzyness and migraine, not the side effect of using the heating pad.

I used to suffer menstrual pain , migraine & dizzyness every month. While Okamoto can ease my menstrual pain, I will keep looking for remedies that ease migraine. In fact I have one, sad to say I can't use that during work, cause can't have a cooling pad on my forehead right??

Usually I'll use during premenstrual when body heat suddenly increased. Its easy to get at at drugstore or pharmacy. I never try this brand before but I guess it should give the same effect.

There are few things I would like to share with u guys. I bet some of u went to bangkok before. Bet u guys already know stuffs that I'm going to introduce. For those who haven't visit bangkok before, this could be some helpful guide. Please dig in more info from internet ok?

Sightseeing:

Grand Palace - During summer, this place should be visited in the morning because after this destination, there will be more attractions. Within the palace complex, several worth seeing buildings are the Temple of Emerald Buddha/Wat Phra Kaew, collections of firearms, weapons, throne halls etc. REMEMBER!! U should visit this one 1st cause the ticket u bought is inclusive of entrances to Royal Plaza later. Both Grand Palace & Royal Plaza are located in different place.
Wat Pho (Temple of the Recling Buddha) - This place will only takes u less than an hour walking tour. It's up to u if u want to see a 3m long statue. Entrance Fees cost RM5, only for foreigners.
Royal Plaza - When u enter this area, there are a few more buildings, might probably take u 2hours ++ non-stop strolling under the hot sun. Vivanmek Mansion lived by few generations of Kings with their original antiques & furniture. Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall is the most stunningly domes. REMEMBER!! It is always nice for eyesight but most of them doesn't allow u to snap photo.

Important Notes:
Please mind ur attire. For places above, NO bare
shoulders/legs. Otherwise they'll give u a batik cloth to wrap around or
they can prohibited u to enter.
Check the visiting time & entrance fees as well.
Prepare umbrella for sun shade or rain drops.

Riverside Cruise - If u don't run out of budget, try to have buffet dinner cruise. The cheapest we can get so far is from Riverside Hotel, RM68/pax. Start dinner at around 1830hrs till around 2100hrs. During weekend, additional RM16/pax is charged. Along the cruise at Chao Phraya, u can see the nightlife, part of Grand Palace, Wat Arun, all International Hotels such as Shangri-La, Penisular, Hilton etc.

Shopping Crave:

Along Sukhumvit Road, 4 giant shopping malls selling mostly branded stuffs. U can find any brand u like, as i was told... Siam Paragon, Siam Center, Siam Square & MBK.
Along Petchaburi Road, Central World Plaza is kinda International Mall with Isetan. At opposite, Big C Mall is like Sungei Wang Plaza. Platinum is a wholesale emporium selling all kinds of women & men apparels, shoes, accessories, bags, food etc, REMEMBER!! their wholesale is mostly 3 item & above. So don't blur blur go & ask wholesale price for 10 pieces. Pantip Plaza sells IT stuffs like Low Yat Plaza.
Khao San - opens daily from morning till night. Lots of stuff to buy & bargain. try some of their local food. It's delicious. In case u can't bear the sun heat, Swensons, Burger King, McDonald & Pizza Restaurant are ready to serve u. REMEMBER!! Their sterling silver are mostly sell as wholesale & in USD currency.
PatPong - night shooping streets infamous of those TigerShows, Strip Dance, pubs, prostitutions, stalls that sells stuffs like our Petaling Street. U can choose any girls u want & depends on ur budget. According to my friends, with RM270 u can bring back to hotel & stay overnight. Of course, the cheaper u pay, the lousier u get lor...
Floating Market - I think this is very well-known attraction in Bangkok. REMEMBER!! U really need to plan the time for this. From Bangkok city, It might take 2 hours or worst if u stuck in traffic jam. Another thing is, do Bargain.

Health Purposes:

U can find all kind of massage from face to toes.
Everywhere is cheap. Averagely less than RM50 for 2 hours. It depend how much u are willing to pay.
Hair wash / hair do is cheap as well. Averagely RM10 for normal wash & blow dry. Don't worry u can rely on their shampoo.
REMEMBER!! Don't over stress urself during trip. Try slot in some time to have massage to relief ur tireness & sore feet.

Hi, everybody who read my blog. <(^v^)>

Actually, there isn't any big deal after all. I just wanna make an announcement here to inform that I do not restrict any blog readers liao.. Very ma fan to send invitations & get no responses from friends. **SIGH**
I almost forgotten that I suppose to work on a blog site which I have abandoned many many moons ago. HAHA...like fairy tales already. When I realised, it took me few days or even weeks to upload parts of my photos and editing them to make it look more pleasant.
Some pictures might not be in good quality, I know. I have difficulties in uploading my photos, therefore updating process would be bit by bit per day. Pls forgive me la. The DIGI-EDGE, very char siew, more lembap than MAXIS-3G.
Now finally the new blog is ready to be shared. It is called LIFES OF JOURNEY. So far, I only put in 2 trips, which is Redang & Macau. PAI SEH !!! Yeah.. I know I'm as slow as a tortoise. The purpose of this new site is to accumulate all my short trips or long vacations. I almost forgotten most the names of the places that I went in China. Don't worry, take your time to view my blog when you are free. No urge at all.
There will be more photos in this blog compare to MEMORY STORAGE. Besides, I'll try to search extra findings on other's culture, food, clothes, places & specialties during each trips. Coming in June, there will be more trips. Which mean, I'll open my eyes "Big Big" during my next vacation *(^o^)*

The airflight prices are damn cheap now starting from just merely 30sen and overseas flight is just RM30... I wanna travel somewhere with anyone of you who are interested too... Start with local tour :

Kuching or Kota Kinabalu
Try laksa sarawak in Kuching, visit the "cat" museum, explore the gua Mulu there...
Or climb the Mount Kinabalu which takes about 3 days to complete until the top of the mountain..

Terengganu
Touch down at Kuala Terengganu terminal. From there, take bus to a jetty. From jetty, we will go Pulau Perhentian or Bubu Island. Have scuba diving in clear sea...or make a bbq at the beach...Can have a massage there too... It would fun and relaxing trip...

Overseas tour :

Macau
Wanna try macau burger, I heard it's very tasty and tastier than McDs.. Visit Macau's British colonial buildings..
From Macau, we will visit HK by ferry or ship (watever lar) and have a shopping spree there.

Bali
Water sports is popular here... :)
Can try massage and spa here...
It will be relaxing trip in Bali.

Phuket
Wanna eat lots of seafood because it's damn cheap..and wanna try thai's tom yum. I heard it's very hot and spicy... yummy...

Bangkok
I have no idea what we can do here.. hehe..

Halo Cafe Gathering

CNY was not all about getting angpows anymore. It's more to gathering with friends and relive the good old memories.
Gathering was just a phone call away. This time Cheng May was back and we all came out to see her baby Max.

Venue : Halo Cafe (the very noisy cafe where amateur singers practise their singing and at the same time torturing everyone's ear. Don't know why this place was chosen for our gathering.)

We had another gathering last night at Ice Ice Baby. Nice place with overpriced food. However seeing the crowd there that night makes me wonder whether it's just normal here to pay three times the price for the same food you can get at hawker stalls elsewhere. At last can meet up with Lee Wah who came all the way from Pahang!

See the dessert she ordered there? It was 100% different from the one in the menu she was pointing at . I must say this never happens in Germany. Yokie and me.

Yokie ordered a Baby Sundae, which made Lee Wah completely regretted her choice because according to her both cost the same.

Chinese New Year '07 Reunion Part II

After struggling to finish off the steamboat food, we adjourned to one of the mushrooming Kopitiams in Ipoh to meet Mee Ling! However we couldn't manage to squeeze into the kopitiam as there were really ALOT of people, therefore we went to Maria.

I just had a gathering with Voon, Yokie, Kelly, Jaina, Fong Fong & LC. We had steamboat ! Although quite a few didn't manage to attend, it turned out great nevertheless. I had never laughed nor talked so much for such a long time. My throat is a little sore now from too much talking . Here's a group picture at the steamboat restaurant.

I just got back from christmas shopping. I love christmas season but I don't like the idea of spending money buying presents :( hehehehe.. Although the weather is more than unpleasing due to the rain but I was real surprised to still see so many people out shopping, no doubt for chrismas presents :)

Always at this time of the year I'll cracked my head for ideas on christmas presents for my dear's parents. So I guess they have every material things already, so I decided to head for the wine & delicatessen shop in Mannheim..here's a pic of the shop.

I like the their christmas decorations and look at the pretty christmas tress! I settled on a white wine and it costs me 16Euros! I tried the wine before that's why I dare to buy and it was quite good really.

After that we headed to the Mannheimer Weihnachtsmarkt literally translated to Mannheim's Christmasmarket where they sell a type of special wine called Glühwein or mulled wine ;) . It is red wine cooked with spices . You can only find this specialty during winter and it's special because you drink it warm and it's sweet with a taste of cinnamon and a shot of orange juice. Here's a cuppa glühwein for you..

I like visiting christmas market here because usually the shops will be decorated beautifully :)

here's my most favourite pic from all the Weihnachtsmarkt that I've been to..it's taken last year in Heidelberg. It's a giant candle windmill ..of coz the candles are fake. The mini version of this windmill is when the candles are lit the hot air from the candle will rise and thus the fan on top will rotate due to the rising hot air...clever hor ;). The shop underneath the windmill is selling Glühwein as well ;)

Me and Soksok were thinking that we're actually misusing the blog like a message board. Entries were too short. But introduction posts are acceptable. Anyway, as promised, I'd come up with a message board.

Blog entry must be something solid. And long post (Yokie, no more short post>_< As an admin, you must write long longgggggggggggg)....or lots of pictures to share. Hey girls .. I just visit lee voon's photo website. She has been to many different places. Envy-nye ... Actually I wanted to visit HK, Spore, Japan (overseas) and Sarawak, islands and any interesting local places. But seems my group of friends is too small. :( hopefully I can get to visit some places next year ... cant waste my youth and work. Must work and play at the same time mer ....

Well, after getting response from the group, I shall post the candid photos during Mee Ling's wedding dinner. During the dinner, I was actually testing my camera, looking for functions that is suitable for taking pictures indoor with dim yellow lights. Mana tau, there is 1 photo which I took when Ling Ling was doing something funny..She was sitting opposite me and I barely hear exactly what she's talking about as an uncle was so excited singing karoake so loudly at the stage. Lets look at the photos...

Hey pals ... here are some of the photos we took on Yong's wedding dinner. Hope those didnt able to join the fun can feel the joy we had last weekend. :)
We had a small gathering on Friday night at Yong's house.
Wonder why I am not in the picture? I haven't arrive! I was just behind them, walking towards the group. How dare they took without me! *Sob Sob* .. I was late due to the heavy traffic in Pg. Stupid jam .. Now, continue with the rest ..
On Saturday, the wedding dinner started at 7pm (according to the invitation, but we started eating at 8pm).
Whilst the party starts late, we wont be sitting patiently wait, right?! Thus, we photograph awhile .. hahahaha
These are some of the food we were served. I didnt manage to took all the food, as I was busy eating :P There are total of 9 dishes and taste not bad.
Half-way eating, we cant stand anymore and photograph awhile. Only 11 of us came. Still remember Shu Kuin? She is the only one didnt change after our graduation. She is still with that hair style but of cos she is prettier lar ... hahaha ...
This little girl has always "eyeing" Voon for that whole night. Voon said, "Maybe this girl has rounded face like me. Thus, love to come over here" .. No lar, Voon, that little girl likes you. Found you are pretty that night .. haha ..
Yong and her hubby ... Handsome and Pretty? Need to say this, her hubby's younger brother looks like him very much .. Yong praised him of being handsome too .. But he is only 19 years old ... :P
The couples arrived. Nice leh?
Cant help not telling this: Yong's boob really sexy, especially in this kinda gown. hahahaha ...

As we dont want to miss this opportunity to take picture with the brides, we went over to her table and take this. :) Pretty girls with the happy couple. :P
The dinner has ended, but we still walked around taking photos. And this is it .. very happy, huh ...
We didnt miss another opportunity to take the last shot outside the restaurant. hahahahhaa ... I guess with us around, there will be lots to play around with the digital cameras .. :P
Well, we are going to another path of our life: adult + marriage life ( to those married ) .. Hope everyone is happy and stay young ... :)

Hi Minasan, I thought of getting us to go try something new. How about organising trip or activity we can do together? For example, we can go to eat something popular somewhere. Or if possible, organise a trip, doesnt need to be expensive nor overseas bcos I believe there is alot of places in Malaysia that we havent been to yet. :) Let's organise something which might bring us together even better. :D

Yeh!!! I'll be going for Mee Ling's dinner..so, I can meet you all. A wedding dinner cum gathering. I'm really looking forward for that big day although it's not my big day...hehe.. Meng Keat has been asking me out for yum cha/steambot/dinner/ktv for so many times as she thought I'll be in Ipoh and i'm so paiseh to inform her that I was in KL for many weekends. Anyway, really appreciate that she invited me along.

I'm now in the office, relaxing as I have submitted a proposal to client just now. A relief after rushing to complete it few days ago. yippie... I miss so many kenny sia's and xia xue's blog and May Zhee (the teenage girl blog, she has wide vocabulary and good writing skills). Gotta read all...then, lunch...

hi everyone! Meng Keat.. thanks for inviting me!! :) Actually I don't use my hotmail account but I came to this group blog by accident..coz was blog hopping and then came across yp's my taufu story ;) and then only I came upon this group blog ..yippie! phew long story hor..

Just got back from work now and as usual eating dinner in front of my computer. I can say it's been sort a like a routine for me for quite awhile. Especially when I have lots of workloads.

I guess i'll try to update as often as i can but sometimes I'll update them on my blog also. So nice to keep in touch with you all again :) Cheers!!

Well, welcome to our group blog .. Hope you all wont be lazy to update once in a while, at least. But you all kinda fast also. I just missed a day, and suddenly so many entries jor ... erm .. not bad if stay like this. :D
Pek Mun: kelly and I used to say we should be blogging something solid like those famous bloggers do (eg: Kenny Sia, Xia Xue etc), not few lines of updates we did in our personal blog. Else, this group blog wont be different from our personal ones .. Anyhow, just a suggestion. All of you can contribute whatever you want. I guess, we can put Mee Ling's wedding dinner photos here also for those didnt attend. :P
FYI, I have finally changed job. I am with a MNC. Very blur and hopefully I can stay longer ..

To confirm how cold it is right here, its constantly <10 degree celcius, and at night it goes below 0, sound like fun right....Actually, nope, its not fun at all......cold weather equals layers of clothes + dryer skin+ laziness + hungriness = time to gain weight....ehhehhe
and defintely more sleep and hibernating at home.

I just got back to work today and seems so lazy after a long holiday......anyhow, cow need to go back to farm jor. T_T

I just invited a couple more people to join the fun in this crazy blogging world. And I'd cast an evil spell and may everyone of you got addicted to the temptation of blogging. My dear bloggers, don't you all follow the bad footstep of Shelley, the lazy blogger. But she give alasan that she got no internet access wor, but proffesion as Maybank IT programmer. Ceh....

Anyway, also upgraded Yokie to be the admin, to help me maintain the blog. Yokie....edit the html and make the layout funkier ar. I'm not familiar with this stupid new beta, my other nice template code can't seem to work on the beta blog.

Hey Loo Loo... This blog is still new and just few members have just join. Come and join the fun here. We would like to know how are you doing in the States since we are separated for many thousands kilometers. It's now winter time, right? Sure freezing cold there..But, we don't experience it here...Pity, we only have one weather here which is hot and humid..Alamak, why am I talking about weather? as if I have nothing else to talk about..hehehe..macam old aunty talk about weather.

yp, wat type of solid blog you are referring to? I can't write those deep thinking essays..may be I can't convey what am I thinking into words.I'm a bad communicator...

I'm still in KL now lor...sometimes wish to go back Ipoh and work at higher pay than in KL, then I can save much more money and have a healthier lifestyle. Initially, I thought KL is a place of freedom and many things to explore...However, after staying here for more than a year, everything just need money. I can spend RM200 in 1 day!!! I have never spent that much when I was in Ipoh. Even if I go jogging in FRIM, Kepong, need to pay entrance fee. There are many gyms mushrooming in Klang Valley like Fitness First, Yoga Zone and so on. RM175 per month for unlimited access at gym centre. Some ppl even pay thousand of ringgits for yoga for few months... Traffic jam and flash floods seem to be never ending story. Sien... Sorry ar, I complained too much here...

Okie.....as constant request by Yokie, here's our group blog. Where I invited a bunch of ppl to participate, whom are too lazy to register and maintain their own blog.

But Im not too sure how this beta blogger works. I cant seem to upload my own template. So pardon me for using the green boring layout for the meanwhile.

I should be sleeping now, but still awake to write the virgin entry in our very first sisterhood blog, 'In The Cove'. If you find the name kinda lame, blame it on Yokie, it's her idea. Hehe. Anyway, it sounds cosy and comfortable. Better than what we had initially, Togethergether, Bibisingsing, Kekepohpoh, Our Nonsense (what nonsense? I write solid stuff wat!) and even Fruitbasket (thinking of giving each member a fruit nick, Nainai being the papaya, Yokie being the durian, me being the blueberry...I'm the admin wat, I get to pick the best fruit nick lar >_<). I really like Togethergether and Fruit Basket (I really want to be miss blueberry) but both were taken. All the good names were taken, cilaka....but not this one......
